Gary Lucas, the legendary guitarist who played with Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band in the 1980s, and whose fretwork characterises Jeff Buckley classics like Mojo Pin, has written a book about his time with Jeff, called Touched by Grace – My Time with Jeff Buckley, which is out via Jawbone Press on October 25th. To coincide with the release, Lucas is touring the UK and Europe, reading from the book and performing songs he wrote with Jeff as well as other highlights of his career. The UK and Ireland dates are
