It kind of goes without saying that 2020 has been a colossal mess of anxiety and denied opportunity all around. Despite, or even in some cases because, of that it has been a great year for music, with career highlight albums from such veterans as Throwing Muses, to new arrivals I’ve already come to love like Tuesday Faust, Otta or INDIGOS. Here then, are 26 of my favourite tracks of the year.
